The SSRIs Announce Canadian Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 16, 2011

Highly technical Vancouver post-hardcore dudes the SSRIs released their Effeminate Godzilla-Sized Wind Chimes last year and followed it with a generous portion of Canadian tour dates. Rather than slow things down, however, the group have announced another batch of shows to bring them across much of the country.

The trek kicks off in Nanaimo on September 2, and continues through British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. For now, the out-of-town dates conclude in Calgary on October 1, though the band promise "more dates TBA."

As previously reported, in addition to the tour, the SSRIs will also be performing at the Vancouver stop for Next Music from Tokyo, an event that will bring several Japanese bands on a Canadian tour this fall. More information on that event is available here.
