Just hours after Spoon served up a new video for "Do You," the American popsmiths have unveiled yet another track from their impending They Want My Soul. A dreamy pulse is fit with serene, slow-mo visuals in this latest preview for "Inside Out."
The track plugs along via textured drum clacks, windswept synth melodies and ethereal harp plucks as Britt Daniel's familiar, perfectly smoky vocals discussing breaking out of character during the inversion of time. Visually, we get still shots of the band playing cards or pretending to be cops, while a neighbourhood appears to get swallowed up in a watery vortex.
