Spider Bags' recent Merge Records album Frozen Letter included a song called "Eyes of Death," and the newly unveiled video for the garage-hewn track interprets the lyrics in rather literal fashion.
In the video, we see a series of women staring impassively at the camera, their eyes covered up with small animated skulls. Eyes of death, indeed. This is intercut with shots of the band playing, while overlaid highway footage conveys the music's steady momentum.
It was directed by Mikie Poland. Watch it below.
Tour dates:
11/05 Denton, TX - Rubber Gloves
11/06 Austin, TX - Fun Fun Fun Fest Nites
11/07 Austin, TX - Fun Fun Fun Fest
11/08 New Orleans, LA - Gasa Gasa
11/09 Birmingham, AL - The Nick
11/10 Columbia, SC - Conundrum Music Hall
01/15 Chicago, IL - Schubas (Tomorrow Never Knows Festival) *
