Sparrow Orange is the most acoustically refined producer on the Noise Factory roster, a label known for releasing raw recordings with depth, such as Beef Terminal's 20GOTO10. Hands and Knees Music, the follow-up to The Beauty of Strangeness, lurks on the fringes of ambient without crossing over. Heavily atmospheric, Hands... is often dark and eerie yet balanced with redemptive tracks such as "I Remember It All" and "Robin Hood." One of the details on this album I find exceptional is the rhythm sequencing, which is understated and original. Because of the polarities of emotions this album embraces and the manner in that it was put together, this album resides in the "special music" section of my collection.
