Seattle grunge legends Soundgarden recently confirmed plans for the release of an epic three-disc, 50-song, career-spanning box set titled Echo of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across the Path, and now they've unveiled another cut from the forthcoming compilation.

The band have already shared previously unreleased cut "Storm," but now they're giving fans a taste of what to expect from the Covers disc with their rendition of a Sly & the Family Stone track.

Chris Cornell and his bandmates take the classic upbeat funk track "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" and give it a characteristically grunged-out reworking. The cover was recorded during a 1989 John Peel session.

Echo of Miles arrives on November 24, but for now you can listen to Soundgarden's heavier take on "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" below.
