Paterson Hodgson used to play cello in Olenka and the Autumn Lovers, but her latest work as the frontwoman of London, ON-based rock outfit So Young shows off her gritty side.
The band recently released a split 7-inch called Summer Hits with Saskatoon, SK's Jeans Boots. So Young's half of the split is called "Keeping Secrets," and it juxtaposes Hodgson's high, clear pop melodies with a grimy, faintly bluesy rock arrangement.
This mini-release follows So Young's recent seven-song EP Secrets.
