When Sloan first began to plug the 20th anniversary celebrations for their One Chord to Another, they had promised that an East Coast Canadian tour was being planned for the fall. True to their word, the Halifax-formed quartet have now unveiled their October-timed Maritimes tour route.
As previously reported, the group have already hit up Central and Western Canada on the tour, which finds them performing 1996's One Chord to Another in full for the first part of the night and a mix of career highlights for a second set. Next up for Sloan is a series of summer festival appearances and a California trip in September, but today (June 10) found them detailing the previously previewed East Coast journey.
The fall leg of Canadian dates technically kicks off in Montreal, though quickly crosses over into the Maritimes for shows across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Following this, they'll be dipping down into the U.S.
One Chord to Another was recently treated to a deluxe vinyl reissue. The package includes the original LP, as well as a record of B-sides, a repress of Recorded "Live" at a Sloan Party, a 7-inch of alternate takes, and a massive booklet. You'll find more info over here.
