Sleepy Sun have a new 7-inch coming out on October 15 via Dine Alone; it features the songs "The Lane" and "11:32," and now the San Francisco band have shared a video for the latter track.
The song is an fuzzy rock cut featuring heavy psych riffs, six-string shredding and reverb-swathed vocals. The accompanying clip emphases the sinister mood, as we see a young woman having a bit too much fun on a drunken, drugged-up and self-destructive night of partying. Things take a particularly dark turn towards the end, when the chemicals end up taking their toll.
The band plan to release a new album in January 2014. Their upcoming tour schedule includes a slew of U.S. dates plus a Canadian leg; see the schedule here.
