Canadian DJ Skratch Bastid has been cueing up summertime parties for the last few years as the Bastid's BBQ, and for the fourth annual instalment of the series, he'll be bringing out sonic vittles coast-to-coast.

A press release confirms that the Bastid and his buds will be bringing "choice beats" and "grilled meats" to parking lots between Halifax and Vancouver this summer, though not all of the shows, uh, ingredients have been revealed just yet.

So far, we know that the first parking lot party takes place at Halifax's Waterfront Warehouse Parking Lot on June 28. In addition to Skratch Bastid's hosting duties, the day will also feature performances from A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Jorun Bombay, Party Boots, IV, Plaeboi, Zora the Sultan, Gordski, Taichichi, Gwen West, Double A, Cam Anderson, General Millz and more.

The Hogtown edition gets underway July 5 in the parking lot at 302 Queen West, across from Black Bull, and it will feature live sets from rapper Rich Kidd and Jesse Futerman, as well as DJ and selector sets from Tony Touch, Starting from Scratch, Wristpect, Demiggs & Tom Wrecks, Jim Sharp, The Gaff, Big Jacks, Love Handle, Big Toe's Hifi, Your Boy Brian and Mark Brand, among others.

Additional parties are set up in Western Canada in Calgary on July 19 and in Vancouver on July 27. All of the venue and roster specifics have thus far been kept under wraps, though the plumped-up details for the BBQ's should arrive sometime in the coming months.
