Skeletonwitch

"Well of Despair"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 8, 2016

Following last month's announcement that Wolvhammer's Adam Clemans is the new singer of Skeletonwitch, the thrash band have premiered the first track with their current lineup. You can drink up their "Well of Despair" now.

"Well of Despair" is a gloomy but speedy assault, big on malicious metal riffs, fastly-pounded snare drums and more. Clemans grafts his signature growl on the piece, offering up bleak and chilling lines about disease, hatred, and vengeance.

You can see an in-studio performance of the new single down below, while the song is also up for sale on Bandcamp. It'll also appear on a forthcoming EP, which is expected to arrive this summer via Prosthetic Records.

Skeletonwitch start their next North American tour later this month, with stops in Vancouver and Toronto booked for April. You'll find the show details over here.
