Nearly two years out from the release of their fantastic "North" LP, Vancouver pop-punk trio Sightlines are gearing up to drop another 7-inch. Ahead of its arrival, the band have delivered the new song "(We Don't Have to Be) Friends Forever."
From its melancholy lyrics and Eric Axen's inimitable vocals to its fuzzed-out bass, frenetic drums and punchy guitar playing, the song further demonstrates why Sightlines are so timeless and classic. Listen to ""(We Don't Have to Be) Friends Forever" below.
The band's Love Ethic EP will arrive on May 11 via Double Lunch/Alarum. The record's cover art, illustrated by frequent Sightlines collaborator Dana Kearley, is available above. Sightlines will celebrate the EP's release with a show at Vancouver's SBC on May 12. More information on that event is available here.
