Side Walk Slam

Despite the loss of their singer/guitarist to married life, this three-piece managed to keep going. Unfortunately the bulk of this release is pretty standard melodic mall punk, and although they're competent at it, it isn't too exciting. Even the famous Blasting Room production of All/Descendents members Stephen Egerton and Bill Stevenson can't breathe much life into this. The songs cover the girls/life/growing up territory but they fall short on those catchy and memorable qualities that make records like this work.
