Shotgun Jimmie Rolls Out Canadian Tour and New Video

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Mar 9, 2016

After announcing his forthcoming Field of Trampolines last week, Shotgun Jimmie has revealed plans to support the new record with a Canadian tour.

The cross-country trek will keep the Canadian indie staple on the road from early May until late June, moving from the Maritimes out towards the western provinces. The tour will begin with an eight-day residency at Thunder & Lightning in Sackville, NB, ending with a performance at Gateway Festival in Bengough, SK. The entire tour itinerary can be found below.

Along with the tour announcement, Jimmie has unveiled a video for the new record's title track. Edited by Colin Medley, the clip is the product of a 16-hour potter's wheel painting session in which Jimmie created over 70 different acrylic works.

The Joel Plaskett-produced Field of Trampolines will bounce onto shelves on March 18 through You've Changed Records. Watch the video for the record's title track after those tour dates.
