Pennsylvania indie rockers Settle have just signed a record deal with Epitaph Records and are currently recording with Adam Lasus (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Yo La Tengo).
The band have hustled 20,000 copies of their two self-released EPs over the last few years and have claimed to have written over 100 songs. However, they may be best known for winning MTVs "Best Music on Campus contest in 2006. With the victory came the opportunity to play the networks Spring Break throwdown in Cancun, Mexico that same year.
Epitaph head-honcho and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz says, "Settle has everything I admire in a great band: poetry, tunefulness, originality and vision, all pursued recklessly, as if the whole thing might fall apart at any second and you can dance to it."
Expect to see Settles debut-full length in stores in early 2009.
