No stranger to Canadian parties, Las Vegas-based Stubbs serves a lukewarm live mix here. Things get off to a great start with a mix of "Plutonium," by Luminance - the progressive cliché of having the opening track build interminably to something anthemic is eschewed in favour of venturing headlong into danceability. Quite frankly, it sets a standard that's not really matched on the rest of the disc. Sure, there's a serviceable version of the club staple "Clearskies" and the Expansion remix of Hamel's "Perspectives," but it'd be hard to mess that one up. The sameness of the material is wearying and the last two tracks are the type of by-the-numbers trance that give the genre's naysayers ammunition.
