Having ditched Epitaph affiliate Burning Heart Records for the other Nordic punk label, Bad Taste, Sweden's Satanic Surfers have found themselves with a renewed sense of purpose and it shows in their music. This seventh release finds the band mining the melodic, political folk punk territory staked out by our own Propagandhi. Recorded in Denmark, with old friend and live engineer Adam Schwartz, the production is rough and raw, like you'd expect to find in a live setting where Schwartz is at home, and the songs are shorter and more direct, but the sentiment and message have never been stronger. Proof that sometimes change is a very good thing.
