SappyFest has already fleshed out its 2013 lineup a couple of times now, and now the eighth edition of the annual event has confirmed even more of the acts who will be performing between August 2 and 4 in Sackville, NB.
The latest update adds a pair of iconic Canadian songwriters to the bill, with Joel Plaskett Emergency performing on the Friday (August 2) and Chad VanGaalen on Saturday (August 3). What's more, VanGaalen will reportedly be selling an exclusive SappyFest tape that will only be available at the festival.
UPDATE: VanGaalen will reportedly only release 23 copies of the tape, so if you're keen, you better get to that merch booth as soon as possible.
They join a lineup that already includes Colin Stetson, the Luyas, Chain and the Gang, Doldrums, AroarA,TOPS, Sarah Neufeld, Blackout Beach, Jon Mckiel, Shotgun Jimmie, Monomyth, the Highest Order, Snowblink, Eucalyptus, Grey Kingdom, Dusted, L CON, Pat Jordache, Tasseomancy and more. On the other hand, previously announced performers Fist City, Dusted, TOPS and Blackout Beach have dropped out.
