Let Go of Your Bad Days

BY Scott IngramPublished May 1, 2003

Vancouver's sunny-side up popsters have stretched things out a bit on their second album; the ten songs clock in at 28 minutes, up from 25 in their ten-song debut album, Short-Term Memories, released in 2000. They have taken more time in crafting their songs also, as evidenced by the string and horn touches found on several songs. The extra work has paid off, in a consistently pleasant sounding album. Let Go of Your Bad Days is a little less sugary than the first, and this time they've ba-ba-backed up their poppy "ba-ba-bas" with a more filled out, dare I say, mature sound.
