After wrapping a run of live dates alongside Mother Mother last month, Said the Whale are going back to school — literally — with the announcement of a school assembly tour.
The band have made plans to play at 10 schools in the Greater Vancouver area "in an effort to support young artists and raise money for their music programs." You can find the list of schools they plan to hit below.
Said the Whale noted that the current itinerary is "just phase 1," putting out a call to interested local businesses to inquire about the full extent of their plans.
"We are not being paid one cent for these shows," the band clarified, adding that they're "donating our time and all travel expenses."
Said the Whale released their Cascadia album earlier this year. Recently, the band were named finalists for this year's Prism Prize.
