Ever busy Ontario multi-tasker Jon Lawless has been making a lot of time for his Swim Good electronic project lately, and it's under this name that he just remixed S's "Vampires."
While the original tune was a briskly bummed-out, chiming pop rock number, Swim Good overhaul it and turns it into a nocturnal synth slow burner. There's an undercurrent of noir & B grooviness to the slow, spacey electronic rhythms and pitch-warped vocal flourishes.
Hear it below.
"Vampires" comes from S's album Cool Choices, due out on September 23 through Hardly Art.
