Edmonton rock'n'rollers Royal Tusk dropped their latest album, DealBreaker, back in the spring, and LP cut "Soon" has now been treated to some DIY visuals.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Daniel Carriere literally took things into his own hands for the new clip, opting to shoot it himself on his iPhone. "I wondered if I could tell a compelling story using a single, restrictive angle of the camera and liked the challenge," he tells Exclaim!
Turns out he totally can, capturing (from his own perspective) a day from start to finish. He takes in plenty of Jameson, coffee, pizza and beer to fuel him through his street-level wanderings, bar-hopping and even a romantic rendezvous.
"Besides the sketchiness of laying in a puddle alone wearing only underpants, holding a bottle of Jameson's and filming in broad daylight, it was an exciting and arrest-free adventure," Carriere added.
Follow along in his footsteps in the video for "Soon" below.
