While much of OVO Sound youngblood Roy Woods' Waking at Dawn finds him trafficking in a pre-sunrise feel, he's just unveiled a sunglasses-mandatory music video for his extra jubilant "Gwan Big Up Urself."
Directed by Christo Anesti and Glenn Michael, the music video for the infectious dancehall pop jam is full of summertime visuals. Woods makes his way through the clip singing at various spots, from football fields to basketball courts.
Elsewhere, we see people cooling off with sugarcane-spiked drinks, putting fans on full blast down at the barbershop, and two poor dudes getting roasted by the staff at a fast food joint that may or may not actually have oxtail for sale. Keep a keen eye out for the Kardinal Offishall cameo.
