Combine the talents of the Mighty Burner, and organ virtuoso Charles Earland with Marc Ribot, Brad Jones, Erik Friedlander, Sam Furnace, Ned Rothenberg and Curtis Fowlkes, then add singers like Elvis Costello, Nancy King, Kenny Washington and Deborah Harry, and you just know that this one should be very, very special and it is. This suite of art songs and funky instrumentals does not disappoint. As hip as any of Hal Wilner's projects, this eclectic merger of jazz and pop is perfect late night listening for any time of the day.
