Ontario's Riverfest Elora is set to return to the banks of of the Grand River for its eighth consecutive year, and organizers have unveiled the full list of artists who will be on hand for the celebrations this August.
Set to take place from August 19 to 21 at the town's Bissell Park, Chromeo, Walk Off the Earth, Matthew Good, the Sheepdogs, Hey Rosetta!, Wintersleep and the Rural Alberta Advantage top this year's bill.
The diverse lineup also features Yukon Blonde, Dear Rouge, Radio Radio, Busty and the Bass, Kardinal Offishall, 54-40 (unplugged), the Slackers, Dilly Dally, the Zolas, Reuben & the Dark, the Wet Secrets, Grand Analog, Fast Romantics, Young Rival, Bry Webb, HIGHS, and more.
Having started as a backyard festival with an attendance of around 700 only eight years ago, Riverfest Elora has hosted crowds of between 4,000 and 5,000 attendees a day with recent editions. The 2015 festival featured performances from Metric, Sam Roberts Band, Bruce Cockburn, Lighthouse, the New Pornographers, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Shad and more.
Weekend festival passes are currently available through a pre-sale until April 30, in which they cost $115 plus taxes and fees. From May 1 onward, passes will cost $140 until they sell out. Full ticketing information can be found through the official festival website.
