Rival Boys are coming up on the release of their new LP, animal instincts. In the meantime, the trio met up with Exclaim! TV at The Piston to perform "Young and Old."
The track initially appeared on the band's Ice Storm EP, but is making a return on their forthcoming full-length. This performance was shot during the same session as last month's "Sober & Single" and thankfully features the same zeal as the first one.
The album release show for animal instincts is Saturday June 14 at the Horseshoe Tavern, though the album's proper release won't come until just over two weeks later (June 30). Blonde Elvis, Legato Vipers and Stuck Out Here will join them for the celebration.
Rival Boys will also be joining Michael Rault and DJ Mike Keire for the fourth instalment of the monthly, pay-what-you-can, Exclaim!-sponsored "Divergence" on July 9 at Hamilton's the Casbah.
