That's a lot of Rickrolling

Raise your hand if you've been personally victimized by Rick Astley. Well, you're not alone. On Wednesday (July 28), the music video for the 1987 hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" officially reached the milestone of one billion views on YouTube.

"1 BILLION views for Never Gonna Give You Up on @YouTube!" the singer tweeted. "Amazing, crazy, wonderful!"

In an accompanying video clip, he went on to say: "I've just been told that 'Never Gonna Give You Up' has been streamed a billion times on YouTube — that is mind-blowing. The world is a wonderful and beautiful place and I'm very lucky."

To celebrate, Astley is issuing the single on a limited-edition 7" blue vinyl. Only 2,500 copies will be made, and he'll be signing each one. Naturally, they appear to have already sold out.

It's a pretty impressive feat to have a song reach this level of iconicity in two different eras; Astley truly has never run around and deserted us.

Check out his message to fans (and dupes) below, as well as YouTube's tweet addressing the streaming landmark.

Back in April, Astley released a new single titled "Unwanted."
