Rich Kidd and SonReal

"Best Believe"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 20, 2012

As previously reported, Vancouver's SonReal is hooking up with T-dot spitter Rich Kidd for the joint effort The Closers. Though Black Box Music won't drop the album till October 16, you can grab newly revealed album cut "Best Believe" in the player below exclusively through Exclaim!

The cut finds the pair doing a back-and-forth on the hook as a mighty boom-bap supports their spitting and a twinkling-bells melody. SonReal brings his A-list rhymes, mentioning his steez is heavier than the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Uncle Phil. Rich Kidd, meanwhile, injects the tune with a lower vocal tone, growling that he's in the game for himself and no one else, and how he'll make phony rappers disappear "with voodoo."
