he Rhythm Masters have put together a decent album of middle of the road house music. The duo, Steve McGuiness and Rob Chetouti, have used filters, funk and vocals to create some good, but not spectacular, club tracks. The best ones are "Disconnect Your Head," "Electronic Funk" and "Speed of Light," which features the vocalist from Heaven 17 and sounds like it could have been produced in the '80s. At times, the music is a little overdone; there are a few too many ideas in some of the songs, making them sound a little thick and a bit too complicated. There are also a few half-hearted attempts at breakbeats and even rap, but the house tracks are the ones to pay attention to.
