Last year, Vancouver pop-rock predators Reef Shark made their debut with the full-length Better Weather. Now, they've got an EP in the works, and they're previewing it with the song "Mind Race."
The self-produced track is a little darker than the sunny sounds of Better Weather. It's a bittersweet, downtempo rock song in which singer-guitarist Devin Miller delivers glum lyrics amidst a spacious soundscape of atmospheric guitars and soft synth arpeggios, with the arrangement occasionally swelling to pounding crescendos.
