Rain Over St.Ambrose

Rain Over St.Ambrose are a band that make you feel at home. Whether it's the voice of Nova Scotia native Cory LeBlanc or the nature of the group's lyrics, you can't help but feel welcome. This feeling is present throughout their debut LP, Overton Window. Sing-along choruses and captivating hooks are interspersed amongst lyrics that reference campfires and the Band ― this is true Canadian music. While the songs on Overton Window are exciting to listen to, there's a certain level of predictability that comes with the familiar traits of their sound. This predictability would be a serious detraction from the album if the boys of St.Ambrose weren't so good at writing solid rock music. Overton Window is a quality debut from a band set to develop into an exciting Canadian act.
