Radiohead Reveal Ben Wheatley-directed "Ful Stop" Vignette

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 1, 2016

As they've been doing over the last several weeks, Radiohead have unveiled another artsy Instagram vignette to further promote their A Moon Shaped Pool album. The latest visual accompaniment is attached to "Ful Stop."

This week's vignette was directed by Ben Wheatley, the British director known most recently for his Tom Hiddleston-starring High-Rise. His mini-movie clip is synced up to the symphony string-scraping post-rock jam band finale of "Full Stop," and finds a buttoned-up business-type floating across a pebbly field, possibly pondering just how the hell he got there. It should be noted, the dude is not soaring majestically, but rather dragging himself along just above the ground.

You can see the scene play out below.

As for Wheatley's future film endeavours, his next feature is a crime drama titled Free Fire, which stars Brie Larson. The soundtrack is being prepped by Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury, the former of which having already worked with Wheatley when Portishead contributed their cover of ABBA's "S.O.S." to High-Rise.
