The debut of Mississauga’s Racer crackles with melodic energy and some punchy guitars to offset the pop. Although a bit too short to be considered an album, these seven tunes in 20 minutes are catchy as a mutha and a good start to what’s likely to be a great band. They also cover the Cure’s “Just Like Heaven.”
