Just when you thought the SoCal sound was all Offspring and Bad Religion, the Pushers come along with 15 songs of Dead Boys on skateboards punk. Produced by skate legend/US Bombs front man Duane Peters, this record is a good bridge between the camps of pop and the raunchier garage stuff. The content runs along the lowbrow side of things with songs about white trash, "Welfare Girl," masturbation, "Tube Sock Love" and a Dead Boys cover, "Caught With the Meat in Your Mouth." Snotty, catchy and a little bit dirty, the Pushers are here to kick your ass.
