Yesterday (May 9), Frightened Rabbit released a statement informing fans and the greater public that frontman Scott Hutchison had been reported missing by his family. His bandmates, family and police have since issued updates on the still-missing singer.

Hutchison's brother and bandmate Grant shared a message via the group's social media accounts early this morning, informing followers that there was still "no news to report on Scott's whereabouts."

He did, however, thank fans for their support over the last couple days and urged people to "keep him in your thoughts, keep an eye out and keep sharing his picture online."

Grant also appeared on Radio X, offering a brief message to his brother.

"Just come back," he said. "There's nothing so insurmountable that we can't figure it out together and help you to get better. We're all here for you, and we all love you very much. You can see the support online, as well. Then just know that everyone loves you very much, and we just want you to come back and be safe."

Police, meanwhile, are continuing to appeal to the public for any information. As noted by Grant, the authorities are now in possession of his brother's phone and continuing to investigate.

Journalist James Matthews shared an update from officers, who noted that two people were spotted on CCTV passing Hutchison after he left the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry (near Edinburgh) in the early hours of yesterday morning.

As previously reported, Hutchison sent out a pair of worrying tweets prior to his disappearance. See those below.
