His bandmates have voiced their concern, issuing a statement on social media saying that the 36-year-old Scottish singer "may be in a fragile state and may not be making the best decisions for himself right now."
We are worried about Scott, who has been missing for a little while now. He may be in a fragile state and may not be making the best decisions for himself right now. Please could Scott or anyone with any information on his whereabouts please contact Police Scotland (101).

The BBC reports that Hutchison was last seen (via CCTV footage) at the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry at 1 a.m. this morning (May 8). He is believed to be in Edinburgh, and police are appealing to people in the city for any information.
Prior to his disappearance, Hutchison posted a series of troubling tweets, warning people to be "good" their loved ones and claiming "I didn't live by those standards and it kills me."
He followed up the initial tweet with: "I'm away now. Thanks."
See Hutchison's tweets below.
Be so good to everyone you love. It's not a given. I'm so annoyed that it's not. I didn't live by that standard and it kills me. Please, hug your loved ones.
