Pivot

Although this band lost their original bass player to Dashboard Confessional, it was totally that guy’s loss for not sticking with the more powerful Pivot. Pivot may be painted with the "emo” brush, but unlike the majority of those bands (Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Osker) Pivot’s sound seems fuller and far more rejuvenating. Similar to Samiam, Filmaker, Dag Nasty, or By A Thread, Pivot’s sound rings out with emotion and movement. Where the Debris Meets the Sea may be short in duration, but it’s overflowing in strength.
