Pennsylvania punk practitioners Pissed Jeans just dropped a reissue of their 2005 album Shallow through Sub Pop, and now that record's "Boring Girls" has got a new music video.
While the song is a ferocious punk rocker, the accompanying video is a goofy send-up of a very tame TV show. It begins with corny music and a laugh track, and the slightly surreal clip goes on to show a dorky dude go on date with the girl from the sample image inside a picture frame. It becomes more nightmarish towards the end — which is more in keeping with the tone of the track — although it's still pretty funny.
It was directed by Joe Stakun. Watch it below [via Stereogum].
