Vancouver ex-pat Stephen McBean is making a return to his Pink Mountaintops project with the aptly titled Get Back LP and is showing off some of the fuzz-drenched results in a cosplay-driven clip for "Ambulance City."
The set-up for the video is super simple and finds McBean and his backup band locking into a psych-rock groove in their jam space. You'll note, however, the makeup of the band shifts from shot to shot, sometimes finding Richard Nixon on drums or Ronald Reagan on bass, or even McBean playing out his rock'n'roll fantasies in a sexy nurse's uniform. That guy's all legs, it turns out.
You can see the video, which caps with a serene, strobe-lit shot of the band leader strumming his six-string, down below.
As previously reported, Pink Mountaintops' Get Back lands April 29 through Jagjaguwar/Outside.
