Besides both of them now residing on Vice Records, there are a number of similarities between Toronto, ON's Lullabye Arkestra and Portland, OR's Pierced Arrows (pictured). Both bands employ their veteran knowledge of punk to create loud, heavy, forward-thinking music. Both bands feature married couples. And now, both bands will be teaming up for a North American tour.
Pierced Arrows will first kick off their portion of the tour towards the end of February. The band will be touring in support of their Vice debut, Descending Shadows, which is being released on February 2. Then after some Canadian shows in Toronto and Montreal, the group will cozy up with Lullabye Arkestra for the majority of their remaining dates.
Lullabye Arkestra most recently released Threats/Worship, their second album and first for Vice. A music video for lead single "Icy Hands" can be viewed here.
