After more than a year out of action, and in advance of the fall release of the band's first full-length album since 1997's When Life Hands You Lemons disc, comes this two-disc collection of everything Piebald has ever recorded. All the EPs, singles, compilation tracks and demos from 1995 on are here as well as the entire ...Lemons record. It's a great way to rediscover one of the few bands to successfully nail the angst, fury and melody of the DC post-punk sound. With duelling guitars and non-traditional punk rhythms, they sound at times like No Knife or Drive Like Jehu and at others like Beefeater or Soul Side: sincere, intense and artistically accomplished. Now where's that new record already?
