It's not clear when the track will be arriving, but it's a good guess it'll drop before her Coachella performance this weekend

Phoebe Bridgers is gearing up to release a new song called "Sidelines," her first piece of new original music since she released Punisher back in 2020.

You can catch a brief snippet of it in the newly released trailer for Hulu series Conversations with Friends. A tweet from Hulu states that the single will be released in full this Friday, April 15, before Bridgers' Coachella performance this coming weekend.

After performing at Coachella this weekend, Bridgers will be heading out on a major North American and European tour through the end of August. She's a busy gal!

After dropping Punisher in 2020, Bridgers followed it with the Copycat Killer EP. After that, she collaborated with Conor Oberst on a re-work of Bright Eyes' "Haligh, Haligh, a Lie, Haligh," and joined Bright Eyes for a take on Elliott Smith's "St. Ides Heaven." She also released a rendition of Tom Waits' "Day After Tomorrow" as a fundraiser for the Local Integration & Family Empowerment Division of the International Institute of Los Angeles last year.
