Good news, Canadian electronic music fans: German trance vet Paul van Dyk will be heading to this side of the Atlantic for a brief tour in early 2011. Although the outing currently has only five dates in total, two of the shows are in Canada.
Van Dyk will be playing in Toronto on January 29 and in Montreal on February 18. The DJ will be logging up some airmiles, as these North American dates are interspersed by a handful of European shows.
There promises to be a major light show for the show in New York on February 19, but there's no word as to whether fans at the other gigs will be treated to the same visual spectacle. According to a press release, van Dyk plans to release a new album this summer.
