Parenthetical Girls Book North American Tour, Play Toronto, Montreal

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 23, 2013

Late last year, we learned that theatrical Portland indie-pop experimentalists Parenthetical Girls were culling the best cuts from their series of limited edition Privilege 12-inch EPs onto one convenient package, and it's now been revealed that they'll promote the condensed compendium with some North American dates.

Following the collection's February 19 release date through Slender Means Society/Marriage, the band will hop in the van in March for a month log tour. They'll kick things off in San Francisco and cap the trip in Seattle, but will hit up both Montreal and Toronto along the way. You can get the show specifics down below.

As previously reported, the original series' five 12-inch singles yielded 21 songs all together, but only 12 tracks figure on the upcoming Privilege. Both the CD and LP releases will contain a DVD featuring seven promotional videos, a live performance, and a "blood draw documentation," which may allude to the band allegedly hand-numbering the original singles with their own plasma.

Thanks to Brooklyn Vegan for the tip.
