A pious Palma Violets fan is helping the band run through "English Tongue" in front of the faithful in the new, church-set video clip for the Danger in the Club single.
The Don Letts-directed visuals find a long-haired, Bible-swinging beardo spreading both frankincense and the good words of the tune around the city. One by one, the members of the band link up with the fellow before taking the stage at a UK holy house and playing in front of a fabulous stained glass backdrop. The rowdy chanting of the chorus may make it seem more apropos for a pub night, but the song may make you a believer of the band, no matter the setting.
Danger in the Club is due to drop on May 5 via Rough Trade
