Here's some emo pop with a difference. This California band mix up the energy of Dag Nasty with the some of the most impassioned vocals this side of Sunny Day Real Estate and the resulting sound is worth a few listens. The music has the kind of energy and conviction that bands like this strive for but rarely attain. And it's a nice change to hear something that has a lot of heart. The dual guitars add a richness to the mix without sounding redundant or taking away from the vocals. This is the kind of band that will wind up getting signed to Revelation before too long.
