The Outkast reunion was properly set into motion last night (January 8) when it was announced the beloved rap duo would be headlining Coachella, and now it appears they'll do the same at New York's annual Governors Ball.

A representative for the Governors Ball confirmed to Rolling Stone that Big Boi and Andre 3000 would indeed take the marquee spot at the festival, which runs June 6 to 8 at New York City's Randall's Island Park.

No other artists have been confirmed just yet, though over 80 acts are expected to appear. Organizers will be offering hints through their various social media accounts over the next several days.

So far, the Governors Ball's Twitter account has posted a picture of the Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac with the caption "Just you wait." While it's too early to know, perhaps another hologram performance is in the works for the late 2Pac, as well as for East Coast rival Biggie?

As previously reported, Outkast will appear on both April 11 and 18 at the Coachella fest in Indio, CA, playing alongside the Knife, the Replacements, Broken Bells, Girl Talk, Ellie Goulding, Chromeo and many more.
