Been waiting for that elusive IMDB listing that will up your cool ante with your film school buddies? Point yourself to www.the1secondfilm.com, where a donation as small as one dollar earns you a producer credit on The World’s Biggest Shortest Film, a one-second IMAX film that aims to raise a million dollars for the Global Fund for Women. The film’s solitary second will be composed of 12 paintings, each shown for two frames, which were created by hundreds of people at an all-night event held in 2001. But the credits are expected to last 90 minutes and the more money you donate, the higher your name will be in the credit roll. Got 15 bucks? You’re above Kevin Bacon, Spike Jonze, and Charlie Kaufman, who are among the multitude involved. Watch out for Andy Dick and Tom Green, though, whose acrimonious bidding war has been captured on the film’s website.
