Syrian dance music hero Omar Souleyman dropped his Four Tet-produced LP Wenu Wenu today. We've already heard the title track, but now we get the video for "Warni Warni."
The seven-minute video follows Souleyman all over the world as he poses pensively in front of various different landmarks. Occasionally, other images are super-imposed, like the eagle that pops up at the one-minute mark. It's straight-faced enough to take seriously, but there's just enough humour to keep you watching for the whole seven minutes.
