In today's WTF? news, a 70-year-old man at a Senegal rap concert pulled out a rifle and opened fire on concertgoers because he was offended by a song's lyrics.
According to a BBC News report, the man warned the crowd to stop singing a Baaba Maal song called "Pa' Tang Xol" (Angry Old Men) because he said the song was making fun of him. When they did not - being the angry old man that he obviously is - the gunman began firing off rounds at the concertgoers, injuring five, two seriously.
"The elderly gentleman felt that these young people were insulting him in their songs," a police officer told Reuters news agency. The gunman was reportedly arrested.
The offending track by Baaba Maal, a Senegalese artist, was playing during the pre-concert warm-up at a show in the village of Lobaly, about 700 kms from the Senegalese capital of Dakar.
