Old Man Gloom Announce "Eastern Residency" Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 13, 2015

After wrecking the West Coast this past February, destructive metal vets Old Man Gloom have revealed similar plans to take the pain eastward for an upcoming tour this September.

This morning (May 13), the band used their Facebook page to unveil a September show schedule that should have them levelling crowds across the U.S. and Canada with the sounds of their recent The Ape of God. This includes a stop in Toronto on September 7 and an appearance in Montreal the following night.

As with their last tour announcement, venue and opening band details have yet to be revealed, but you'll find the date and city info down below.
UPDATE: Old Man Gloom have now revealed all of the venue details, and have also confirmed that Toronto metal unit Mare have reunited to play most of the upcoming dates.

The quartet's trek this past winter had them playing shows with Coliseum, though that Kentucky trio were forced to skip the tour opener at Vancouver's Electric Owl venue due to flight delays. Opening act info for this next trip is forthcoming.

Old Man Gloom, which features members of Converge, Sumac and Mammifer, confused the faithful last fall when it was revealed that The Ape of God was being delivered as two separate albums going by the same name. You'll find Exclaim!'s review for the collection over here.
